ARod will still be here cause of his contract...I don't think any team would pick that up. Swisher is definitely a goner. I think Granderson's contract is up this year or next and I don't think we'll resign him.

I think the team needs to get younger...like get some players in their 20's. We know the infield is set so that really can't be touched but Grandy and Swish are likely goners, maybe we can get some young guys out there. I'd like to see Nunez play a bit more in the regular season. If he keeps making errors at short, either DH him or platoon DH's with him and Jeter. With Gardner back, I'd also like to see him get some playing time in the outfield. It's not all about the homeruns, cause in the postseason, that doesn't work. We need at least a couple fast guys like Nunez and Gardner in the lineup.
Latest report on Granderson has him going to see an eye specialist. So is this a legit problem or an excuse? Hmmm

I've been a Granderson fan since he made the show as a Tiger. -He swings at too many bad pitches and tries pulling the ball more than he should. I'd rather see him use the whole field and try to hit the gaps. This year his OBP really dipped. Hope he figures it out- whether it's his eyes, or whatever.

I think Granderson has decent trade value (making $6-7m in his walk-year in '13), but most teams probably realize that his power numbers are grossly inflated by Yankee Stadium. And his defense has fallen off in the last year or two. -There used to be a saying in Detroit (and probably every other MLB city) that "Water covers 2/3s of the earth. [Granderson] covers the rest" -or something to that effect. He used to have a reputation of being a plus defender. Now, he's maybe a tick above average. Kind of turning into the offensive equivalent of Alfonso Soriano.
