But if you are hesitant because you don't know anything about the players, then I wholly recommend "The T206 Collection: The Players & Their Stories". You can find it on Amazon. It's a great read! The color on the Thomas card is magnificent! (09-12-2012, 09:53 AM)rinzler Wrote: Dude, start now! Really nice pickups. I am looking to add a few more to my PC. They are some great looking cards.
went to my nearest LCS shop...my very 1st trip..and WOW
he had everything. But he had the stuff marked at or near BV. Tons of Vintage and stuff over several hundred dollars. He even let me hold a 69 Jumbo of Mantle graded 8 card. I did see he had some 1909-11 T206 cards in a box..i just didnt even bother to look. He had a shoeless joe jackson (b/w) for about 1200....WOW Spent nearly a hour just looking.
Collecting ROOKIE CARDS 40-60's, 25 Gehrig, fancraze-wagner
You should collect them for the artistry and history. They are amazing pieces of cardboard. Thanks for the comments.
Good color. The edges are not turning and everything is still bright.

I appreciate Chicago players that begin competing within the city's sports organizations and stay with these teams throughout their careers.
