Got out of the hobby back in 1994-95, trying to get back in and do something different than exclusively baseball so I decided to order my first box of football which is a 2012 Topps JUMBO! I have bought a couple individual packs from my LCS to try them out and while I did not get any great hits I can't say I was really expecting much from it since I did not open a full box. There is something about holding those small bricks of cards that I LOVE. I guess it takes me back to those old cello packs of the 80s and early 90s.

My LCS was charging $140 with tax, got this box off ebay for $99.95 shipped. I really want to open something now but it is not worth $40 to go get it tomorrow. Sold some other stuff on eBay so it didn't even come out of our checking account, which will make the wife happy.

Wish me well guys, if I can make 75% of my money back on this box I will buy another and another and... I know I most likely will never make my money back, but paying the 25% isn't bad for the fun of researching and opening packs in my opinion. I will say that I sold the Game Day Giveaway cards on eBay and got what I feel is a premium for something I nearly through in the trash. I am just not into virtual collecting or whatever it is they do with those cards. I guess I am to old school.
