Usually when money is refunded that quickly, especially when it is for an amount larger than $50 or so, it means that other party is a known problem. I am assuming they linked your unfortunate purchase to other people getting scammed by the same guy. At least that gives me hope that they know what he is doing.

It's just sad though. If you are willing to be that kind of a person for $325? Wow. Apparently he is holding a fire sale on his integrity, and it's going for pennies.

+1! they couldnt give me any info on him but i made sure to let them know what shez found and that he has been ripping people off for a while now. they made it clear that they would monitor him. i have tried to call the guy but he will not answer. maybe he is in jail..... we can only hope.

He tried to get me too. Made me a deal that I couldnt refuse. Not too good to be true but had some stuff that I really wanted. He was a new trader on TCC so I told him he would have to send first. He agreed and I never saw the cards. Luckly I never sent my end. It was around $250 SV.

ok so i called paypal yesterday and they were awsome! got the full amount refunded to me.

THATS A GOOD QUESTION. IF HE AT LEAST SENT AN EMPTY BOX HE WOULD HAVE A CHANCE. BUT IT IS JUST VERY STRANGE INDEED.

Also- just because Paypal refunds you, doesn't necessarily mean they are able to recover it from the seller. That's the risk they take with that protection. They guarantee you your money back, but there is no guarantee they will get theirs back. So it is possible that he still has his money and Paypal reimbursed you for this guy being a tool. :-( That's why I think people are always being too harsh when they rant about PP fees. 3% of the purchase price is a pretty easy pill to swallow in light of situations like this where they may be on the hook for $300 so you can get your money back.
