Hard to tell, all depends on his health, and if he can keep putting up good numbers.

with players that are this young, it's hard to tell. If he stays catching his whole career with these numbers, I'd say so. If he moves to first but still puts up the same numbers, I don't think he'll cut it

Catcher is a tuff one to get into the HOF. Here are some of the people he will need to stack up with to get there; I am sure that He will also have to compare with Mike Piazza soon enough. I wouldn't let those averages fool you. These men played long after their running legs had given out and they didn't get a 4 days on 1 day off or whatever the new catcher schedule is.

If Buster keeps up his current stats for 15 more years I don't see why he wouldn't be considered for the Hall. I have to be honest I only see the Giants when the Braves play them. How is his defensive game? That will matter a good deal as a catcher.

Nice cards!! He's trying to get through his first full season,but he has a confident swing and I think that will take him there.Imo.

He is a LONG ways off from HOF talk, however he is definitely a great young player. There have been plenty of great young catchers that have fizzled out as their careers endured. Benito Santiago and Sandy Alomar Jr are the first 2 that come to mind as highly collected catchers when they were rookies. They both had a few great years to start and even had good careers overall but neither is likely to ever make the HOF.

Is he gonna stay a catcher? If I remember Craig Biggio started as a catcher and early on switcher pos. which I think really helped him in the long run! I hope he has a HOF career, I'm a big FSU fan and you
dont see alot of outstanding FSU players in MLB.
