How do tell if a 1969 Mickey Mantle Card 500 is a reprint or not? There are some cards that do not say reprint and look identical to the cards that I could tell.

The first thing I would do is check the copyright line. It should give the date that the card was produced.

The paper stock looks totally different too.

Easy way is to compare the card to another card from the same set that you know is real (a common card usually works well, as very very rarely are commons forged). Compare the card stock, the coloring, printing indicators (check the points under a loop or magnifier), and of course one good rule of thumb is that if a deal is too good to be true it usually is.
