Question concerning License aggrements for Football

Question concerning License aggrements for Football
I see that both the NFL and The NFLPA upped with Panini recently. I also see that around the end of March the NFLPA re upped with Topps. Does Topps still have a deal with the NFL itself? If the don't how would that affect the look of the cards?

If Topps doesn't have an NFL license, their cards will look like Press Pass' and Sage's collegiate cards look like... no team logos shown. It's happened before to Topps in the 70's. All the pictures had the helmets airbrushed. They'll just do it again.

RE: Question concerning License aggrements for Football
Topps has a multi-year deal with the NFL, Topps never, ever signs a deal unless it is for multi-years to protect their investments, especially since they were almost the odd man out at the beginning of last season, when UD was supposed to get it and folded.
