so i picked up a box of 2008-09 sp authentic for 110.00 delivered, not a bad deal i thought, i was hoping on a stamkos, haha yea right eh, overall im thinking below average...any thoughts?

yea when you consider the ratio, but i was thinking hit wise and value, im happy
with the fact i got a complete base set within 1 box which never happens to me.

in terms of value it all depends on what you could get for it...

the price of the box is cheaper than the ones at my LCS by a lot so you are ahead right there

Im not sure what you expect when you buy a box, because if that was my box, id be a pretty happy camper. Doughty was one of the better RC's and you hit 4 autos... They could have all been nobodys dude haha. Great box in my opinion, and at a decent price point too. And hey, you could have pulled an expired redemption, so thats always handy when you miss them

You gotta think about how that box would have looked if you opened it when it was launched. You would have had a Superstar RC in Drew Doughty, along with a Top prospect (Boedker) and a SOTT of a young talent from an great team, who also happened to be in his rookie year.

On top of that, the Schneider is probably the top non auto FW in the whole set.

On top of this, the only garbage auto (Gillies) is basically a throw away anyways because you hit an extra auto.

Just my 2 cents.

as of right now its available but im going to wait till i get my
2 boxes of 2010-11 sp auth opened tomorrow and list everything
i dont want into my org..

as far as expectations i guess i expect alot when i get a box
not a tonne of hits, just one really nice one.
