I need to dig mine out from when I was a teenager. I got sigs from Phil Jackson, Dominique Wilkins, Herb Score, Larry Walker, and a handful of football players.I think Phil Jackson took the longest, over a year to get it back.
So when you send out the cards/photos to the players, what do you include in the envelope?
Thanks
When I was a kid I would write a letter telling them I was a huge fan and blah blah blah but the only one I got a letter back from was Herb Score so I don't even know if many of them even read the letters.
Mets fan?
[quote='the cardboard fan' pid='1982639' dateline='1334627528'] I haven't been able to this year (at least yet) as with the new baby and job I've not had nearly as much time for my hobby but here are some I have got back the last few years
Collect Kirk Gibson (Tigers), Lou Whitaker, Alan Trammell, Jack Morris (Tigers), Lance Parrish (Tigers), Sparky Anderson (Tigers), Tom Brookens (Tigers), as well as earlier Tigers greats like Al Kaline, Norm Cash, Mickey Lolich, Willie Horton, etc.
Not for sale, but here's some I got when I was a kid -

Include a nice letter. Include a SASE (self addressed stamped envelope) so they can return it to you.
Anyone know of bill mazeroski signs Ttm?
I've often thought about doing it, but it never happens due to laziness.
I collect Dirk Hayhurst. Thank you jbel4331 for the banner! |
