What to Grade... Opinions please

There are a few reasons that I either get cards graded or buy them already graded.
1) Protection for the card
2) You get a better idea of what the condition is as opposed to everyone saying the card they are selling is MT
3) Some cards, especially older demand a huge premium if they receive a high grade. Here's a prefect example....1984 Topps Joe Montana Instant Replay #359. This card is listed with a value of $6 for Raw mint, $20 for BGS 9.0 but jumps to $120 for BGS 9.5.

Newer cards like 2010 Topps Chrome are expected to be in good condition and would not carry that kind of premium if graded BGS 9.5
