hmmmm, id like to give the seller the benefit of the doubt here because he may have just been trying to protect you from getting upset if you paid for an item that got damaged. he may have not been home or something and his wife just told him that only to learn later it was a joke. but on the other hand, if you feel you overpaid then you were just given a way out and might want to just forget about it and move on. but if its a rare card that you want bad, youd probably save yourself some trouble later on and just get it while you can.
