totally understand the mario williams deal...price tag way too high, but demeco ryans for a 4th round pick? Puzzles me? I dont understand why a team would work so hard to build a top defense just to dismantle it?? Great pick up for the eagles.

because they have depth at that position, and ryans was fighting for playing time last year, after missing 2010.

Ryan's isn't a 3-4 MLB. That's basically why he was traded to us. Although they could have gotten more for him but I'm not complaining

I'll give the Eagles credit - they sure know how to fleece other teams in trades. Now if they only could figure out that draft thing.
