Well my brother called me up and said someone gave him 4 tix, parking pass and (2) $5 coupons off ANY concession item for the Florida Panthers vs Buffalo Sabre game tonight....we tried with no success finding 2 other s to go with us to the game due to the festivities of St. pattys day.... so I decided to take my 5 yo daughter.....

So we got there a bit early, so I took my daughter down to watch the warmups...I let her pick which team she wanted to go down by....she picked the Sabres......while she was positioned against the glass Pominville saw her and shot two pucks against the glass trying to 'scare' her...but she thought it was hilarious! One of the coaches on the bench picked up one of the practice pucks and tossed it over to her....SHE WAS SOOOO EXCITED! Then several more minutes go by and another coach sees her waving to Ryan Miller and Vanek, he leaves and comes back with an official on icegame puck w the sabres logo! She just couldnt believe it!! 2 pucks!! (HUGE for a 5 yo)

We go to or seats......5th row by the face off circle at the Panthers end......we start talking with the HOT girl behind us and her mom.....Low and behold...its Thomas Griess' Fiancee (Hes the Back up goalie for San Jose)....my brother told me about her and talking to her...but WOW! He is one LUCKY GUY Let me tell you!!! She a Local model/equestrian rider her in south florida.

Great game.....went into OT, then SO with 6-7 rounds of shooters Florida Finally winning out at the end.....

Awesome experience for my daughter....another reason I like the sport of hockey and the way the treat the kids versus that of other sports.....the Fiancee and 5th row seats werent bad either!

Now that's a great story. I am sure your daughter had a blast and how cool is it to get 2 pucks!! That's just awesome.

Not an intro for her as she loves the Penguins and has been to ever Pens game against the Panthers since she was born, is on her second croaby jersey and went to a Tampa/buffalo game in Tampa earlier this year.....she likes Buffalo because as she calls them... The Buffalo Savers... They use the swords on their jersey to save the buffalo from bad people and animals.

Pretty cute and can't bear to break the news of the real team name to her.
