Smart by Detroit to sign him to a long term deal and free up some cap space. He was gonna get $27 million this year (I believe) and if they franchise tagged him next year, he would have gotten another $23 million. These contracts are all back loaded and only $60 million is guaranteed, so this contract will get re-worked again after year 5 in my opinion.
