RE: Hobby boxes at Wal-mart??
Yes, I have seen hobby boxes at Walmart and Target before. Just have to be at the right walmart at the right time

The ones I have seen at Walmart have always been older boxes, 08, 09, etc. Seen a box of 2006 fleer ultra there once but.....2006's rookie class = not that great in 2012

The only retail store I have seen hobby boxes here is at Shopko and that is only every once in a while. Mostly been baseball and basketball.

I have seen them in target before. But most of the time they are way overpriced.

The wally worlds here sub out there trading card stuff too, as well as Freddy's. Target does theiyr own corporate thing. They always have the longevity boxes, but they sell out within a week. One of ous local shops started carrying longevity, but its 10 goons more than you can get it at target.

Thanks everyone for your responses.. I guess it isn't as odd as I thought. This was my first time seeing it, I did notice that our Walmart revamped their card section within the last few weeks.. The Chrome rack packs were also in different packaging, packaging where people could not bend or "search" the pack. I like who ever implemented that policy!
