XstreamINsanity's BGS Submission Contest - Winner
XstreamINsanity's BGS Submission Contest - Winner
They updated the system yesterday with the grades of the cards and also marked them shipped. They should have them here tomorrow (odd, because I went FedEx ground, oh well). However, here are the grades in order of grade from worst to best and then alphabetical for cards with the same grade.
I used the above list in that order to determine the winners. Originally, these were the rules:
However, as I was trying to determine who won, using the subgrades proved to be difficult. So I decided the following:
Question 1 - The number next to the card in the above list.
Question 2 - A point for each card right.
Question 3 - Subtract the number of the card from 14, then add one.
Question 4 - I gave an above/under leeway of 10 days. If you chose the correct day, you received 10 points. If you were one day off, you received 9. If you were more than 10 days off, you received a negative. If you were astronomically off, you received -100.
Question 5 - I gave an above/under leeway of 10 days. If you chose the correct day, you received 10 points. If you were one day off, you recevied 9. If you were more than 10 days off, you received a negative. If you were astronomically off, you received -100.
The prize was for the winner to choose one of the following options.
10 cards of your choice
Team/Player of your choice
25 cards of my choice
Quavis had 48 points. And here are the other contestants in order from most points to lease:
If you feel that I calculated wrong, please let me know (some might be off by one or two, it's really early in the morning). Quavis, if you don't check this thread, I'll be sending you a by the end of the weekend to let you know. I'm hoping to submit some more cards in the next few months so maybe we can play this again. Thank you all for playing.

I used the above list in that order to determine the winners. Originally, these were the rules:
- What card do you think will receive the highest grade (if multiple cards have the same grade, subgrades will be used to determine answer)?
- How many cards will I have for each grade (do not put grades with 0 cards)?
- What card do you think will receive the worst grade? (if multiple cards have the same grade, subgrades will be used to determine answer)?
- I just sent the cards off today first class, when do you think they'll get there?
- I used the 20 day service, when do you think my grades will be posted?
However, as I was trying to determine who won, using the subgrades proved to be difficult. So I decided the following:
Question 1 - The number next to the card in the above list.
Question 2 - A point for each card right.
Question 3 - Subtract the number of the card from 14, then add one.
Question 4 - I gave an above/under leeway of 10 days. If you chose the correct day, you received 10 points. If you were one day off, you received 9. If you were more than 10 days off, you received a negative. If you were astronomically off, you received -100.
