First of all I put this on the bay for a one day auction


Of course it sold and I sent the buyer an invoice saying need payment buy tonight for PC addition.
He replied cardshow this weekend can't pay till Monday

I am thinking about eating the negative feedback just because I didn't want to give it up to begin with.
any ideas or should I just deal and wait till Monday.

Man I'm not sure but I think eBay has a 7 day policy where a buyer technically has 7 days to pay. Did you put in your auction that it must be paid for in a certain amount of time.

did you say in the auction he had to pay immediately?... if not ... the right thing to do is wait till monday and if he does not pay by then re-consider. i believe ebay gives the buyer time to pat even when they use a bin unless immediate payment is required.while I do think the buyer is wrong for not paying (unless he's buying more cards from you in the traditional auction format and is waiting to pay all at once). The answer he gave you is bull.... IMO ... Its so nice of him to tell you he's going out and spending money at a show and making you wait.

to ebay the description does not matter. i sold a card a while back and the guy didn't even try to contact me till i sent a cancel request 3 weeks later. the listing said 3 days to pay. the bay didn't care told me deal with it. i know it is basically the same deal as now just reversed

that is my thinking as well (he has it but wants to do something else first) but the brees i wanted ends tonight and there is nothing i can do about it that is why i thinking about eating the fee and the feedback

i could but if i buy something i have to have the money i dont want him to back out monday and say oops spent all my money at the show we can cancel and now i'm stuck. if i buy now or win i pay within 5 min of it ending. but hey it probably just me that does that lol
