My 1st Break on Beckett....1 Box of Crown 11-12
So I just recently got back into the Hobby...(was given 10,000 Cards...3/4 Penthouse and Playboy...the rest early 90's junk) and next thing you know I've got a PC in excess of 10,000 cards in the past 4 months.
Decided to Crake open my second box of Crown Royale 2011-12....Here goes..

The Kadri was nice and I might keep that one...

I'm sure some people like them, but I think it is gimmicky to put in autos of announcers and the like. Kind of like when Bowman put autos of baseball scouts in one of their sets a couple of years back.
I collect Dany Heatley, Nicklas Backstrom, all Red Wings and most Yankees.

I'd be pretty upset spending $90 on a box & 1 of the autos is an announcer.
The Kadri is sweet though.

yay-spend that much for a 1 color jersey card....reminds me of my certified breaks...pay $10+ a pack a for a sergei kostisyn jersey /399...whoopee.

Well the Kadri I will keep for now unless I get an amazing offer...as for everything else...its fair game.
Not totally impressed with Crown...Might buy a box or 2 more but I think ill go back to my Black Diamond and Last Years Playoff Contenders....More bang for the Buck...Just have to wait years for any redemptions.
Im still wondering who John Forslund is and why he is in my Box of Hockey Cards?

Absolutely craptastic break. Thery were so lazy they could not even serial number 3/4's of the cards in the "watered down release". 14 base cards, 1 insert, 2 auto's and 2 jerseys in your break...awesome. I hope this bites them in the butt when sales slow to a crawl on the wax. Disgusting product IMO for value and price.

Thanks for sharing your break. I am glad to see that I shall savew my money for better boxes. Have not really seen any great breaks from Crown yet.
