Jones without Greg Jackson- chit chat

I think Greg should definitely be in Jones' corner! That is his current student! Screw Evans he is long gone. If I were Jones I would be a little upset!! What do you all think?

I agree with you on the screw Rashad bandwagon but i think that Greg Jackson effect is overrated. I believe he has been fortunate to get great athletes in his camp. He still can not make Jardine a viable opponent in any weight class. I would still put AKA, ATT, and Blackhouse ahead of his camp.

Steve! i totally agree with you! I was leaving out the Jackson over rated part to see what others would say first. I think he is highly overrated. I hate how he lies to his fighters sometimes...ex they are clearly losing and he tells them they are winning! Be honest and push your fighters!!

I can't remember who, but a few-five years ago there was a boxing match on FNF on ESPN and this guy was losing, and Teddy Atlas tore into him, sure as heck the guy came out an KO'd his opponent in the next round. I always remember that when I hear a corner telling a guy he's in good shape when he's clearly getting his a$s kicked and we have to watch another 5 minutes of people avoiding fighting trying to win a decision.
take a look at my organize, I have something you like...

So i take it youre not a big fan of Jon "Lay and Pray" Fitch? The guys complain because they dont get title shots, but heres a thought... MMA is a sport but it is also entertainment and if i pay $55 for a PPV Jon Fitch'esque fighters better not be near the top of the card. Dont get me wrong I respect their ability but i have no desire to pay to watch a snooze fest.

Jon Jones just said that Greg Jackson Will be cornering him against Rashad. I guess Jackson changed his mind. This bodes well for the Champ I think, cuz he knows Rashads weaknesses even better than Evans does himself. I gotta disagree with you guys about Jackson being overrated, tho. Sure its probably not to hard to turn Bones into a champion, but when you look at the improvement he has helped make in lower tier guys, you can see theres something good going on down there
