Then again that set was a rough set anyways ( The Fouts ) so it shouldn't be a surprise really... But most of the Fouts prob. found there way in rubber bands *shivers*........
The Sanders is definitely way better. I was shocked to see the could be values. The Fouts is 14 years older. In 14 years, i am sure the Sanders will go up as well. Overall, i dont think it was bad for $10. Still dont know how much the coin is worth, probably not much.

In my opinion $10 was a steal. Both the Sanders and the Fouts are worth more than that easily, no idea about the baseball card.

Always looking for BGS or BVG graded cards for HOFers....especially the skilled positions.
James,
Great job on the getting the cards. There have been far to many Sanders graded, 6530 to be exact. With the OC and print spots on yours I think your lucky if it gets a 9, but most likely it will be below that. With the Fouts, the OC, ink spots and rough edges will do you in. The corners are not crisp, from the pic they do not look to be sharp. Maybe a 7.5. Over 2400 Boggs have been graded and only 250 have graded 9 or higher. The top corners are not sharp and the OC and ink spots will do you in. I think 8.5 would be generous. I have not sent many cards in, but I am very picky with what I do. Bottom line James is what you think. The protection of the slabs are always a great option and since you live in Texas you could always drive the cards to Beckett yourself. PS The Bench coin is in the OPG Great purchase James, Art |
