So there are 150 Common and 150 harder to find and after looking there are only 5 people who have any of the. I find this to be a little crazy. I am looking to knock some of these off my list so if you have some please add them to you org and send me a trade offer. These are not rare cards so I am confussed how barely anyone on here has any.

They actually are rare cards. I have 77 out of the 90 for Caminiti for 98 tek and they have been hard to find. I also have only been able to find 5 Gwynn from the same set. I just bought a huge lot of 98 Tek. I'll let you know if I find any Jeters when it gets here.

I have nothing but time so I am good, I am tring to work a deal for my 1996 needs list which is alot shorter than 1997 through 1999.

its a very fun set to complete. i have put together two 1998 tek roberto alomar and two barry bonds sets. im working on the 3rd bonds with 38 more needed. each set took me 3-4 years to finish. most pick ups from ebay. if you need jeter help lmk i have a friend that is going after the master set(9000 cards), he may have extras?

Master set is 8100 card (90 patterns of 90 players) not 9000 . And that doe not include another 8100 diffractors

As to original poster question about scarcity. The 98 TEK specific cards are NOT easy to find especially the star cards like Ripken, Jeter, Bonds etc as the individual player collectors snag them up when they are available on ebay or the trade boards.

Good luck finding those!! I have been working on the Barry Larkin Topps Tek set for years and it is impossible, even if you are willing to pay over book value, you just can't find them. I have only accumulated 34 of the 90 in about 10 years, and I have never even seen one of the Diffractors of him. I am sure they are out there somewhere, but I don't know where. I'm wondering if a lot of this product just never got opened. If I remember right, it was wuite expensive when it was released.

If anyone has any of the Larkins, please let me know. Don't really have much to trade, but definitely willing to buy.
