Person XYZ owns a card F1. Card is valued at $300.
Person ABC owns a card F2. Card is valued at $300.
Person XYZ sells his card F1, Person ABC buys it for $5000.
Person ABC sells his card F2, Person XYZ buys it for $5000.
Card is now valued at $5000 despite no transaction taking place.

Green Bay. QB. Potential Historical Run. SPA. RC. AUTO. Patch. 25 made. Only 130 total copies made. All these are why that sells for 5k. Its not a $3-500 card. The /99 is a $2000 card.
