Im curious did you trade for the Toews Dual Shield or buy it? I am looking to buy a Fowler/Palmieri dual Shield but the guy wants $1499 for it. Yes, $1,499. Ridiculous IMO

I figured it was a fair price considering I tried to bid on the Getzlaf/Perry one and it went for $861. I have also seen the Kesler/Luongo go for $850. So the going rate on the good veteran shields is $800ish. The reason the seller of the Fowler/Palmieri is asking more is rookie shields even though they are event worn, they are going for more. There was Niederreitter/Some other rookie that went for $1000 shortly after release, so this seller thinks his Fowler is worth close to that. Just my 2 cents. |
