Not sure if this has already been brought up but I'm curious as to what everyones collecting goals are for 2012. Mine is to reach 10,000 different Phillies cards by the end of the year. My current Phillies pc is at 2233 so I have a long way to go but it should be fun trying to get there.

My goals are to add to my Verlander collection, which includes acquiring the other 8 2007 SP Authentic BTL's I need to spell out his last name.

Since I am just getting back into it getting organized is priority #1. Then add to my personal collections (Chipper, Cox, Righetti & 1995 Braves roster rookies).

1) get to 500 trades just need 115 more. ( Thanks to everyone for all the previous trades and for the futre trades
2) pick up 15 T-206s that I need for my set. ( Hope to surpass that number)
3) Aquire a Lou Gehrig game used card
4) pick up 10 HOF rookie cards or prewar cards other than a T-206

2) (and this may be a bit of a stretch) get my Chipper PC to 1000.

finish my 1948 bowman set, upgrade multiple other sets, finally start to get my high grade vintage graded ( which means no as many new cards this year) and work on my football Player collections...my big one I wanna get up to 60% completion (currently around 52%) and my other up to 25% (currently ones around 10% and the other only 5%) and pick up a lot more HOF auto baseballs. My current collection is around 150 baseballs

My goal is pretty small compared to last year as the list has gotten shorter but I wanna try and finish the 1996 beckett listed Derek Jeter collection. My main goal is to save up money and get the 1996 Mirror Gold card of his for that year. If I can make that happen I know I can complete the collection.

My goal is to keep building my Griffe/Jeter/Ichiro PCs. So far this year my Griffey collection has increased to about 225 unique cards with another 50 or so on the way (Thanks guys!) My Jeter collection just crossed 100 unique cards. My Ichiro is at about 50 or so. All this and I am only collecting from the Topps (Topps, Bowman) and pre-2010 Upper Deck (UD, SP, etc.) families of cards. Looking forward to more great trades!

I want to finish getting all my cards (sports and non) into the org and then start downsizing to focus on baseball. Also i'd like to either sell or trade away all my basketball/football and whatever else isnt baseball related. Also see if i can pick up some vintage cards as well to get graded and keep till i retire from life. My main focus this year is to complete the 2012 heritage set. Since money is limited as well as time, I can only do one complete set a year. Last year was topps 1&2. Good times.

A couple of collecting goals for me this year....
1. Hit 30,000 unique Red Sox (current count 26,651...this may be a stretch)
2. Hit 600 different Ted Williams cards...(current count 577)
3. Pick up a dozen card for my 1972 set..(still need 99..mostly high numbers)
4. Get to 500 trades both here and on the Bench....
5. Organize, organize, organize! (yeah that one never seems to get hit, year after year)
