Strange trade offer from micber
I received a trade offer from micber via Beckett email, which my computer security suggests I don't open. What is rather peculiar is that this trade offer does not appear here in the trade tool. Is this a new bug on the Beckett site? Spud

The peculiar thing about this trade offer is that there does not appear to be a trade offer here on Beckett. No PM and no Trade notice from micber. How is it that I can receive a trade offer email from Beckett when there clearly isn't one here on this website? For the time being, I have to assume, for computer security reasons, that the Beckett email offer may be bogus. If there is a trade offer, love to hear from micber - send me a PM. Spud

micber is a member here, and has a very good feedback reading, if the beckett email sent it to your email with a title saying something like
" you have received a trade offer"
And the email addy that sent it, is "customerservice@beckett.com"it is more than likely legitimate.

Check your trade notifications and see if anything is in there

Could be that they sent the offer and then canceled it right away.
Like shez said, check the notifications tab in your trade screen and see if there's anything there.

RE: Strange trade offer from micber
I have checked everything in my Trade more than once and there is nothing there from micber. If he cancelled the trade right away shouldn't I see that? This has nothing to do with micber, don't have any idea who he/she is. This has to do with the Beckett site sending a trade notification by email without leaving a trace anywhere else.
So my question to micber is this: did you attempt to send me a trade offer? If you did, what were you interested in? I have a lot of cards for trade. If you didn't, then I am really interested in where the email came from (to the MODs)? Thanks

Sounds like a plan. Maybe in exchange for a satisfactory answer you'll explain the cryptic letters and numbers below your bucket link.
As for the phantom trade offer, I'm hoping that it's just a bug in the system tipping off an imminent massive site upgrade : )

Absolutely! The cryptic letter and numbers are there to see who would be the first one to ask about them. That, would be you.

Here is the phantom 'Beckett Trade Offer from micber' that I received by email. MODs is this from Beckett? Oh yes, I do have a chapter in my book about trading cards here on Beckett - part of my autobiography. Spud
Note that my email is bohr_atom@hotmail.com, yes after that famous physicist Niels Bohr whose contributions to atomic physics led to quantum mechanics, one of my favorite subjects at university.
