I have a '56 topps mantle. Has nice eye appeal, no creases, some rounded corners, and a small pin hole above his head. I was planning on sending a bunch of vintage to grade in a month or so and was on the fence about having the Mantle graded or Authenticated only. Probably would grade a 2-2.5 and I don't plan on selling it....so maybe authentication...but if i was gonna sell it maybe with a graded # would get a better price...gimme your opinions

With a pin hole you will be very lucky if it comes back graded higher than a 1, but if you want to protect it from further damage then I say send it in.

...but would you Grade it or get the authentication only service....still slabbed but without a grade #
