is the 2001 donruss signature albert pujols auto bgs 9.5 a rare card? is $2000 to much to pay? beckett doesnt show a price for it in this condition for some reason

I'm guessing you were the one that just bought it off eBay for $2k. There is another one up for $3500 with best offer. Also, a BGS9 went unsold at $1k. Ungraded one recently sold for $430.
The population report says that of 61 that have been graded there have been 25 BGS9 and 4 BGS9.5. So with only 4 in BGS9.5 condition, the card is pretty rare in that condition and that is probably why there is no Beckett pricing for it.
