At three years old she could very easily know specific baseball players and like watching baseball. It all depends on what she is exposed to. If he takes her to games and she sits with him and watches the games on tv it wouldn't be hard for her to pick up on who is who. My nephew at three years old could tell you every single thomas the tank engine that was on every show and could tell you from memory exactly which ones he had and didn't have if you asked him who he needed for his collection and the type of track he needed. Not all kids are the same granted but I can easily believe that his daughter likes watching baseball. It's better than some of the crap they put out for kids on tv.
