1974 Finnish Typotor cards

1974 Finnish Typotor cards
Why does BGS and the Beckett website checklist for the
1974 Finnish Typotor cards have the cards as being numbered?
The cards are not mumbered. For example, I have the Vladislav Tretiak card, graded 8.5 by BVG. BVG listed it a card #73.
And yet the actual card does not have a number anywhere on it.
Why the numbering?

I'm not familiar with that set. But one set that I am familiar with is the Stadium Club set. Some of the cards in it don't have numbers on them, but Beckett has assigned numbers for them. Maybe this is the same scenario.
