I haven't heard anything like that on cnn and they seem to be letting everyone go back into buildings so maybe just a little bit of hysteria going on. Hope so anyway.

Where at in NC?

I felt it too. I'm near Greensboro, NC about 20 miles from the VA border. I thought it was a low-flying plane at first, but I didn't hear one. I knew it was either an earthquake or something exploded.
I hope the hurricane isn't going to be real bad. We need the rain but could do without the wind and the storm surge. At least there are lots of webcam along the coast. I always watch them when hurricanes come close so I can see how bad it is. I have a lot of family near the coast, so I love being able to watch them webcams to see what's going on.
