Post a card you spent $1,000 or more on!

You have some serious talent. Can't put a price on family and that is something I'd rather spend my money on. Thanks for sharing!

i think the most I've spent on a card is $50 so I will definitely not have anything to contribute here

You could drop a 0 from the title and I still couldn't show off a card. The most I've ever spent on a single card was $62.50 for the 'S' in my sig. If I had a grand to spend on a hobby, I'd get a new, larger telescope before I'd spend that much on one card. Maybe one day, years from now, I'll spend that much on a single card.
I wouldn't. I prefer boxes. My addiction is the thrill of possibly hitting something big. Blowing it all on one card is no fun for me. I have been on a bit of a vintage kick lately, but I would still rather have a bunch of less valuable cards instead.
Anytime I get a chunk of "fun money" that is over 150-200 bucks I buy drums and cymbals.
So...1000 on a card, any card? God no. But for a great sounding snare drum that looks as beautiful as a piece of furniture, sing me up for two. Heck if I had it lying around, Id gladly spend 5 to 7 grand on a vintage brass shell snare. But that, kind of like a 1000 dollar card will probably NEVER happen.
I'm shocked that only three other people have posted cards in this thread.
I remember when Beckett had a ton of whales. People who would spend $30-$50 thousand a year on absoloutely sick, sick stuff. I hope whales haven't become an endangered species in these waters. Honestly, the most expensive card I want for my own PC would probably STILL not cost me $1000. I am pretty sure I could get a Musial RC for a few hundred less than a grand. |
