Duch2izback's Official Shill Bidders Identification/Elimination Thread
Unfortunately for us collectors, there is an ever present amount of garbage on the web, and since many of us peruse the feebay website, we sometimes end up facing an unknown enemy: the shill bidder, that dastardly unscrupulous fiend who preys on the unsuspecting folk who are only out to increase their collections. Many of you here have encountered these crooks, but many more have no idea that it has even happened to them. I check each and every auction I win, to see if something don't smell kosher. It isn't hard to find the bad egg, I promise you.

Since I'm on there so much, I've sorta made it a point to go after these thugs as much as I can. Lately there has been some growing success in taking these losers off the website, but sometimes it takes time and persistence, or talking to the right person.

For those who need an example of a shill bidder, here is my current example:

The bidder in question is c***c. Now look at another item by the same seller:

and another....

still another.....

wow......

See a pattern here? Well, this is actually what sets off the red flag:

100% bidding on this one seller? Hmmm?????????

I hope this has been informative, and I will let you know when this seller is gone
