RE: Question on a trade off beckett for a 1952 Topps Mickey Mantle
Yeah, a dinosaur fossil is really a historic piece but you know it doesn't have $20,000 value or Topps would not have inserted it into any pack. They don't print those themselves, haha! Anyway, you are a baseball card collector not a fossil collector, right? I'd jump on that but do it in person inside a public place like McDonalds or something and make sure you check the casing and everything over darn good.

It would be hilarious if the dude trading the mantle looked on here and saw everyone ripping on him!

This guy wants to trade me a 1952 Topps #311 Mickey Mantle DP for my 2010 Topps Allen and Ginter Mini Monsters of the Mesozoic Relics #MMR12 Pterodactyl. My first thing I need to make sure the PSA number is real. The 2nd thing is I need to drive there if it is. Give me your guys thoughts on this. Here are scans of both cards his is small which makes me wonder as well.
PSA #30271984
My card
Assuming it is legit, I would go with the Mantle over a gimmick card any day. But that is just my opinion. If it is for real, you have a tough call to make.
I collect Dany Heatley, Nicklas Backstrom, all Red Wings and most Yankees.
