I feel your pain. I can get Henry 1/1 cards for as low as $5 for plates and $12 for autoed yet this guy wants $100
Felt that way about some John Beck 1/1's and now his stuff has gone back up to rookie year prices.... well close to anyhow.

RE: Ridiculous 1/1 prices...
Mad....Probably no 1 2 blame but myself but.... I would have paid 135 but was gonna try and negotiate. This is why I don't like it when a seller holds onto your offer! If he would have countered or declined I definitely would have increased my bid. In fact I may have gone higher than what he got. Some people think they are so smart going BIN or best offer. He could have gotten more out of me if he didn't hold my bid. I'm always gonna start low...if he had a brain he would have countered or declined my low ball bid....
Welp! ....I guess thats just 1 more Rainbow i wont be completing Damn! probably could have gotten 160-165 out of me if he tried....

I hear ya, there is a seller who wouldn't take $70 for a Laurinaitis Topps 1/1. BIN is $299 OBO.

I get he's trying to get the most money for his card I would do the same....The fact is he didn't because he wouldn't negotiate. He got 135 and I would have done 165....gotta play ball though

You would think that, wouldn't you? This card has been listed continuously for over 3 YEARS - check the offer history!

It's nowhere close to $200, especially since it's a non auto, non GU, and the guy isn't even in the league anymore. But of course I want it! LOL. But I have a price in mind that I'm not going to go over. So every 6 months I shoot an offer hoping that maybe now the seller is getting tired of looking at that card (or paying the listing fees).
