wow never thought of that. The holograms today can be picked up by metal detector?

Nice handle. Maybe you can explain why my 1982 topps Ripken rookie sells for so little on Ebay. That and the Rickey rookie was the card to have back in the 80s

overproduction and a shift in what people want for cards. the key ripken would be the 82 traded it still holds a reasonably good value

I have avoided a few of them...want to add one into my collection one day but haven't found the right one yet.

also as for value with the rise of graded cards... a lot of cards such as the ripken rookie... the value is in the high grade/well centered cards still. a more picky marketplace

They are packaged & look like 2 packs. 1 above the other for $4.99. I pulleda few GU, Chrome S/N & a Strasburg. Nothing fancy but it is retail not hobby.
Collecting: Auto's, G/U Jsy/Bat, Refractors, etc.., Harper, Trout, Jeter, Mantle, Rivera, Pujols,Ripken, Griffey Jr, Heyward, Cal Ripken Jr., Posey,
Other Auto's, GU cards will be considered
