I have been trying to "super collect" Scott Lutrus. Im not sure if you can call it that since he only has 11 cards, but whatever.

Of those 11 cards, 8 of them are 1/1 printing plates. There is one on ebay for 15 bucks, and even though its not that much, I dont want to pay that much for a card of a guy who wasnt even drafted, and cant sign an UDFA contract. The card is worth 5 bucks probably. If it there were only one 1/1 card of his, I would have no problem paying the 15. BUT, since there are 8, I dont want to have to pay 15 for each since each potential seller is going to see the price that the last one went for. Maybe im being too picky, but whatever. lol

Another thing that can be annoying about collecting one guy is that if a potential seller or trader knows you really like the player, sometimes they try and make you overpay. Again, not all the time, but it happens.

That is the end of my rant.

I watched someone out bid me and pay 100.00 for a Justin Houston leaf gold auto 1/1 I mean really a third rounder for that. I bid in the 90's didn't think it would even come close. But the guy that bought it is a retard and paying way to much for all the 2011 chiefs. It's kinda funny cause he will over pay got everything for a week or do then be gone for two or three weeks the back to over paying. I just wait till he blows all his money over paying then I pick up some things. Got two 1/1 plates on the weeks he was broke for 4.00 a piece lol.

Get 'em my friend! I have accepted the title of a Dez super collector in the making and I own no 1/1's. I am afraid to know what they cost, I already know what I have paid for the other stuff.

i have a few but not like some people do. i think of all the players i collect i have a total of 16 tops and 10 of those are plates I think

Just have to be patient. If it is too high, it will sit there for a while and eBay keeps building up fees. Most will go from BIN to auction style. You just have to wait it out.

There is a particular card I want that is #/d to 5 but the guy wants $80 for it in a 1-1 trade, even higher for a 2-1. It's an autoed RC wth a Rookie Premier jersey swatch (single color). Except for the /5 stamp on it it looks identical to the #d/50 variation that is available for sell on COMC.com for $25 delivered.....Some people............................

These ellipsis indicate my irritation. I hadn't thought about that card for a couple of weeks, and now I am irritated again. And yeah the guy is a member here....and it probably won't be too hard to figure out who, or what card I am talking about. I stand by my statements though. I am entitled to be irritated at whom ever I choose to be.
