I recently picked up an autographed Andrea Bargnani jersey with a certificate of authenticity from the Toronto Raptors at a church silent auction and I more or less bought it knowing the funds were going to the church. I have been told it is worth a lot, but I don't really know much about basketball.

Anyone know what a jersey like this could sell for with the COA? Is there anyone who is interested in it?

if you have a legit COA then it's worth $300-$500.

many COAs don't prove the signature is authentic, but I don't think anyone would fake a bargnani signature.

i would suggest listing it on ebay start price of $349. DeRozan is the leader of the Toronto Raptors I believe, so bargnani might not even be popular to canadians. he was a #1 pick several years ago and his stats are ok, but i think the hard core collectors would be in Europe where he played his best basketball.

Thanks for the info! It is a 100% legit COA from the MSLE (Maple Leaf Sports and Entertainment) so I am not worried about that at all. I have seen some on ebay that are valued around that price, plus with what you say, maybe it's worth my time to keep it and frame it maybe... I mean heck, I only paid $70 for it! Gotta love church silent auction fundraisers!!

That is a bit high of an estimate, there has been some listed up for a while around the internet (various sites, including amazon and ebay) unable to move at $200-275. $70 was a great deal though, but expecting more than $200 would be a reach I think.

Eh, just because it's in the NBA store doesn't necessarily mean it's going to sell for that much. I would check eBay and other auction sites for what they're selling at.

Regardless of what it is worth I guess; it's probably totally worth framing in a shadow box to keep it protected and that's probably what I will do. Though you pay and arm and a leg for it; if he ever turns into the superstar the Raptors though he would be; it will look really good in my man cave!
