I picked up a box of SP Authentic as a late Fathers' Day present for myself, and should have gone with one of the 6 boxes of Contenders he had instead, as this box was a total bust.

First off, after three boxes, I was short 7 base cards for my first base set. After this, my fourth box (and probably another couple boxes in loose packs over the last couple months) I'm now only 4 base cards short of the set. Wow.

Next up, and I'm thinking about writing Upper Deck about this, the box promises three autographs, and I pulled two. Not sure what they'll do, but it's worth a try.

Finally, and I'm not surprised by this, but it still stinks... Six fat packs = six decoys.

OUCH, that's terrible and to top it off, you are shorted 1 Auto. I'd be calling Upper Deck but good luck getting thru right now as I have read that they are moving the offices. None of those decoy cards had a redemption sticker did they?

Ooooh, trust me, I checked and double-checked. The worst part is, the LCS owner told me I'd pull a patch because the last five boxes he sold didn't have one. I told him not to curse my break, but it was too late.

Ugh, i've heard so much bad things about this year's SPA being short autos. Definitely do contact upper deck about it, and be sure to mention that you had 6 fat packs in your box as you're only supposed to have 3... Now as far as the base cards, i assume you're already aware that there is a pair of washington capitals players (one of which is varlamov) that have the same card number and that there is a missing number because if it? if not, you may only have 3 base missing instead of 4...

You are correct sir, Corey Perry and Varlamov both are numbered 83, and there is no 84, so I need three base cards now, haha. Thanks for the heads-up!

Which base do you need? I broke a bunch of boxes a while ago and may have the ones you need.
