Every time I try to complete a base set, the last few cards I need are the "sideways cards". The ones with a landscape layout. It's been this way for the last couple of years. Once I got down the 9 cards to complete the '11 series 2 they were all "sideways cards". Am I just odd, or is there a reason for this?

Usually when you get those cards they will come all at once. If you open a box of jumbos for example, you may get 3 packs that have those in them but there will be about 10 in a row. Often times, those cards will have poor collation and will appear in the same order frequently, therefore if you happen to get the same run of cards in consecutive boxes or several times in the same case, it's because they are collated that way.
