Here is a list of the sets I'm collecting currently. I added in how many of each set I'm needing. Some of the older sets have error cards. I believe I have one version of the card and need the other, but for these cards I would like front and back scans so that I can verify to make sure they are different. If you know the difference between both versions of the card, then please let me know (and still provide scans). Also, there are some sets on here where the base is most expensive than others. Those sets I'm looking to finish lastly as I want to get as many of the older sets and sets I'm close to finishing done first. I would really like to find set collectors whom I can help out that can help me out. Taffster has always been a set collector I've dealt with in the past many times, but I'd like to find more. If you can please help me on these sets, I'd truly appreciate it. Oh, and because of the following rules, you may want to check my Trade folders to make sure it's worth the hassle on your end. Smile

Rules:

YES, I will trade GU for base...however, if it's older base, I require 2x BV and the max value of the GU can be $20. If it's newer base, we'll discuss. There are other occasions where I may require more BV, such as a trader wanting a couple star RC and I'm receiving no name set fillers. In most occasions, depending on what the offer is, I'll inform you of my requirements.
All of my cards came directly from the pack and into sleeves or boxes. KEEP IN MIND - I DO NOT HAVE TO TIME TO EVALUATE EACH CARD FOR DISCREPANCIES IN CONDITION SUCH AS MINT TO EXCELLENT ETC.!!! The condition my cards show in the system are the same condition they were when they were added to my collection by the system, I did not change condition.
I can get scans if needed. However, it will take longer as it will take me pulling them, scanning them, and making sure I do this between regular life activities.
I have all of my wants marked as such in my collections. If you go to a collection you think you can help me on, you can sort by Want and it will show you (you might have to put it in Trade Layout) which cards I want. PLEASE LET ME KNOW WHAT CARDS YOU HAVE THAT I NEED!!! Because of the number of sets that I am collecting, I do not have time to go through your collection, especially if it is not set up properly, and determine which ones I need and which ones I don't. Also, I just added some set fillers to my collections within the last few days without updating Organize, so I'll have to verify my collections first, then my Pistons PC, and then my For Trade cards. This doesn't mean don't send me offers until I am finished, but do note that it is going to take me some time getting back to offers.
I still have to go through my cards and verify them since I've been remodeling my collections in Organize. ALL CARDS I HAVE FOR TRADE WILL BE IN THE "FOR TRADE" FOLDER UNDER IT'S SPECIFIC CATEGORY (BASKETBALL, BASEBALL, NON-SPORT, ETC.)!!! Because I'll be going through my cards and verifying which ones haven't been added and the quantities available for trade, please do not ask me if I have some that aren't listed. The answer is YES. And because I sorted them into my For Trade Boxes, I don't know which ones aren't in there, hence going through and verifying them.
Because these are base, there are occasions where I won't require the other trader to ship first. However, as the price goes up, my requirements go up. Anything over $40, I require DC number before shipping (except for loyal traders I've traded with many times).
- You want a John Wall RC and I'm getting 15 base cards, YOU SHIP FIRST!!!
- You want 20 Clippers base and I'm getting 18 set fillers, I'll ship same time as you.
I do not normally send extras, so if you send me some, please don't be upset that I didn't send you any. I'm a very stingy collector (hate to admit it) and want to complete these sets and help out my Pistons PC. Even a very low end base card can help me get a Pistons card I don't have.
If a trade is agreed upon and finished before the Trade tools are working, I will be making an invoice and saving them in my PMs so that when the Trade tools are up, we will both enter them into the system and act as though we did the trade through the tools. NOTE: By doing this, after the trade is done the items may be duplicated in value. Therefore, please keep close track of your cards back and forth (not just with me, with anyone).
Yes, I will trade Basketball for other sports. HOWEVER, because this thread is asking for set fillers (I don't have to ask for Pistons as everyone knows I want those first) any other sports that are offered must be Detroit Red Wings and Detroit Tigers. I do not want to trade for Detroit Lions, I'll take them if you want to get rid of them though. I do not want trade bait for other sports either.
BV is higher on my list than Quantity, meaning that me getting 60 cards and giving up 4 in most cases is ok as long as the BV is close. This is easily done when I'm getting cards from the early nineties and some cards are $0.10.

I think I can help you with the 08-09 Fleer & Hot Prospects if you still need it. Just let me know what you have. I'm a Spurs fan but collect some other stuff too.

If you're wondering how I ended up at your posting 1 year later, I was typing in Google "why does the 2008-09 Fleer set not have DeAndre Jordan." I've been avidly collecting the 08-09 Fleer set after I found some really good Rack Pack deals at Wal-Mart. I probably have the complete set 5 times over (I only hope it turns out to be like the 86-87 Fleer set a decade or two from now). The set would be even more valuable if they didn't leave out DeAndre Jordan's solo RCs-- since he's starting to have a pretty sweet career with the Clippers.
