1984 MJ USA CARD

1984 MJ USA CARD
I have a 1984 MJ USA Olympic card and I can't find it anywhere. It is gold with black writing and white stars down the sides. Under his picture it says "MICHAEL JORDAN co-captain gold winning team". It doesn't have a number or brand on it and I can't seem to figure out what it is. Someone else has to have one of these. Someone please help me out.

Plenty of them arround. Was a broder card in the early 1990s.

This shows one of the big reasons why broder style cards are worthless. The date at the bottom of the card is not the copyright date, as there is no copyright date on the card. The date at the bottom is there to show that Jordan was drafted by the Bulls in 1984, and also to try and confuse and trick an unknowing buyer into thinking the card is really from 1984 and thus really valuable. The other big reason why broder style cards are worthless is because they have no copyright, so anyone can essentially print the card again and again and again, thus making the total print run limitless.
Collecting John Stockton, Karl Malone, Ivan Rodriguez, Gary Carter & UF player rookie year cards.  Plus Jedd Gyorko rookie and prospect cards.

Well that sucks. I was wondering why I couldn't find it anywhere. What does "broder" mean? And I got duped into buying an NSA "card" that supposedly has patches from jordan/pippen. I was told that these are fakes. Is there any market for these, say on ebay?

Check out the following link for some basic info about Broder cards: http://www.baseballcardpedia.com/index.php/Broder
As for a market for fakes or broders, essentially there really isn't a market other than selling to other people that aren't knowledgeable about them and essentially passing the scam along. There are very few collectors that want Broder style cards. It is best to just keep the card as a reminder to yourself or to have some fun destroying it.

Ya...but for a buck or two, they are a fun addition to a personal player collection. Especially the one's in the early 90s, they are what they are and a part of the card world.
