Have some Questions about Graded Cards

Have some Questions about Graded Cards
How much does the BV increase from a regular card to a graded card? I have never really been into them so I am almost clueless.
Also am thinking about getting some graded, what does everyone go by to determine which ones to grade?
Any help is greatly appreciated.

RE: Have some Questions about Graded Cards
Newer cards (back to around 1995) will only increase in BV if they grade a 9.5 or a 10. Cards from the 80's will increase, if they grade a 9 or better. Cards from before that just depend on the grade itself and the age of the card. You should see this link for grading specifications of BGS to determine if you should grade it or not:

Just add the card to your ORG and check the Condition Value for each scale/number to see if you should grade it or not.

No problem. I really hope it helped you out! That link has helped me determine the condition of many of my older cards that are/were listed FT! I have considered sending in some stuff for grading, but never really bit on it. I always check that link to determine how I should list my vintage cards though. PLZ LMK what you come up with/trade for. I'd be happy to see what you traded and what you got in return.

I still can't believe no one else posted here!

Oh I got some in a collection I bought a few weeks ago, most namely a Tom Brady Ionix RC but it only graded 6.5, a Drew Brees Ultimate RC graded 7.5 and a Jeter 1992 Classics foil graded 8 but its graded by Map Industries which I have never heard of.
