The way it should be

The way it should be
Does anyone else think we should have information on not just how many there are of one particular grade in the population report (9.5, 9.0) but we should be able to hover over each amount in each graded category and get a breakdown of how many there are of the four different sub-grade combinations there can be for EACH GRADE. For example on a card graded 9.5 there can be 4 different kinds of this particular grade.

10,10,9.5,9.5
10,9.5,9.5,9.5
9.5,9.5,9.5,9.5
9.5,9.5,9.5,9

Knowing this information would GREATLY affect the values of the cards. We as buyers and sellers NEED TO KNOW THIS INFORMATION!!
Wanted: any 1989 Upper Deck cards graded 9.5 across the board or better.

There's one more combination:

10,10,10,8.5

This one also yields a 9.5.

Thats right, so, do you agree that we should be getting that information and that it would be a good thing for the card industry?

Actually, wouldnt that grade a 9 because they dont go over .5 of the lowest grade on the card?

It does grade out as a 9.5, when there are (3) 10's and an 8.5.

It's b/c of the (3) 10's. Before my example, have you ever seen an example with (3) 10's?

I havent...so does this mean that the fourth grade could go as low as 8.0 and still have a final of 9.5?

No. 8.5 is the lowest. And the other 3 subgrades have to be 10's. If one of them isn't a 10, your final grade won't be 9.5.
