Why is Organize so "Disorganized"?
One confusion with organize is why when I open my "All Items" folder that there seems to be no rationale as to the organization of the cards listed. My first card listed might be a 2002 Topps baseball card while the next one is from 1989. Everything is seemingly "unorganized" in organize. On the older site, it worked from oldest card to newest with cards also alphabetically organized via brand. I've noticed this too when I search for a specific player. In searching for my Barry Bonds cards, the first listed will be from 1994 and then a 1988 and then a 2001. This makes it incredibly difficult to search quickly. Am I missing some easy way to fix this or is this something that needs to be corrected? Thanks.

I am on board with you on this one. It would be amazing to have that feature back into play, but the updates are a slow process. I know it's difficult, but all we can do is hang on and hope for the best. Hopefully soon!

RE: Why is Organize so "Disorganized"?
2 things you can do:
one: create a new folder...call it whatever you want ("all items sortable") go to all items folder, select the collection, then add it to the new folder boom: everything is in order two: sort by manually changing the web address this is the way to do it by price. however, the same idea can be used to change it by description ort Prices High to Low: All Items: [http://www.beckett.com/organize/#c=0] sorted [http://www.beckett.com/organize/#c=0&c_0sortname=price_high&c_0sortorder=desc] Recently Traded: [http://www.beckett.com/organize/#c=3000001] sorted [http://www.beckett.com/organize/#c=3000001&c_3000001sortname=price_high&c_3000001sortorder=desc] Recebtly Added: [http://www.beckett.com/organize/#c=3000000] sorted [http://www.beckett.com/organize/#c=3000000&c_3000000sortname=price_high&c_3000000sortorder=desc] Trash: [http: //www.beckett.com/organize/#c=3000002] sorted [http://www.beckett.com/organize/#c=3000002&c_3000002sortname=price_high&c_3000002sortorder=desc] Ignore the brackets, they are just there to disable the command. Each collection has a code number. For All Items it is 0 For recently added it is 3000000 For recently traded it is 3000001 For trash it is 3000002 Each collection is assigned a different number. It is found in the command line at the top of the page. Copy and paste this portion onto the end of the command line. &c_3456789sortname=price_high&c_3456789sortorder=desc And then change the two numbers to match the number in the beginning of the command line. &c_3456789sortname=price_high&c_3456789sortorder=desc And then press enter and it will sort the prices high to low. onedollardutch.blogspot.com ![]() |
