I was offered replacements by Topps. But then they told me I could trade them all in for one bigger card. I agreed to that. Of course they couldn't tell me or promise me anything, except it'll be an auto worth the combined beckett value. Was that smart or stupid? Anyone have any success with that type of replacement with Topps.

I guess if I saved used tinfoil and used tea bags instead of old comic books and old baseball cards, the difference between a crazed hoarder and a savvy collector is in that inherent value.
