Are you also a glutton for punishment?

Are you also a glutton for punishment?
I have renewed my Beckett subscription many times even though I get upset frequently about the lack of service and response to issues. Like many of you, I have received emails from businesses regarding COVID-19 and their promise to continue servicing their customers.

Anybody hear from Beckett other than a sales pitch? Anybody get offered a couple of months free OPG due to the lack of current pricing? Of course not!

Those who run Beckett are completely void of concern for their customers, and really could care less about what needs to improve. Floydtown does what he can but is not in charge.

My 18-month subscription runs out in January 2021. If I have any sense of justice at that time, I will finally pull the plug and stop throwing money into the wind.

I got an email back in October for a 25% post season savings on a 3, 6 or 12 month subscription. My sub didn't run out until January so I called the toll free sub number to see if they'd honor that deal when it was time to renew. I talked with Dee there and she offered me 18 months at $126 for the baseball sub and I agreed to that. I kept my emails and then contacted her when my sub was about to expire in January and got that deal with no problems.

For me the OPG and ORG are tools that I use daily to organize and keep track of my collection and it's so called "worth". It's tough to cough up that sub fee each year but a deal takes a bit of the sting out.
I collect Hall of Fame baseball player cards and cards of current and retired superstars.

Since you don't buy new product every year, I would think your collection value would remain relatively the same and not need "updated pricing" on the prior year stuff.

When I purchase new stuff, I expect it to be priced within 3 weeks of release date. That is part of my subscription fee. If that part is being ignored, then a discount or refund should occur.

My subscription ends in August then I am done. Lack of pricing has been an issue for me since 2017. My last renewal they threw in the magazine but that goes right into the recycle bin after reading the main story. Too many phone calls have become annoying - two today.
