"Attic Finds"

"Attic Finds"
A friend of mine works in construction and they were to tear down an old house that and older couple moved out of. The workers were told they could take whatever they wanted before it was demolished. My friend took a box of about 4-5,000 1970s-90s football, baseball, and hockey cards.

He asked me to look through 'em and if there wasn't anything worth $100 or more (besides the lot itself) I could have them. Unfortunately there wasn't anything too ground breaking.

Some of the stuff I found:
1993 Topps Complete Set (Bledsoe and Bettis RC)
1993 Topps Gold - Bledsoe RC and Montana
1991 Score Complete Set (Favre RC)
1989 Kenner Legends Collection Johnny Unitas
1987 TCMA Update - Joe Theismann and Cliff Branch
1986 1000 Yard Club - 2 Walter Paytons
1984 Topps Jackie Slater RC
1983 Topps Gary Anderson RC
1979 Topps Earl Campbell Record Breaker
1979 Topps Buccaneers and Seahawks Team Leaders
A bunch of 1989-1991 Pro Set cards (no rare variations/errors)
A lot of commons from 1975, 1977-84 Topps

Some Nolan Ryans (baseball obviously) from late 70s and 2 1980-81 Topps Larry Birds' (both sharp enough to maybe grade at an 8 or 9)

Like I said, nothing too ground breaking, but some cool stuff...for free nonetheless. Smile

Nice finds! Part of the fun is going through old boxes like that, never know what you'll find.

What condition are the 1975s?
I have a few and we may be able to trade with each other.

Definitely cool, and certainly can't beat the price!! Probably took you quite awhile to get through them all but I'm sure you had a blast. Congrats!!
