Since I'm far too poor to open The Cup, a blaster of Prizm!
That's right, I'm nowhere near The Cup's league, so I decided while on an errand run to Target to grab a blaster. Not bad, I ended up with four of the rookies that I need for the set including Yakupov & Tarasenko (nice!), another half dozen base cards that I needed, red parallels of Versteeg, Hedman and Benn, a green Parallel of Alexander Semin & an autograph...
From what I discovered on the world wide webernets... It's a SSP! $20 for ten cards that I needed for the set, some parallels and a super short-printed autograph! Can't complain there! Definitely not as awe inspiring as The Cup, but not a bad break for a regularly scheduled impulse buy, haha.

Nice break, I love this set, the parallels red/blue/greens look great
I have not pulled one yet but the orange die cuts/50 look sweet too
good luck building your set, I am only doing the rookies , lmk what you still need and maybe we can make a trade

Nice break Chris, always nice to pull a SP auto.
As for the Cup, I can't afford it either and from what I'm seeing being busted, I really would want to spend that kind of money on this years product.

As much as I'd like to pull a Krug RC from The Cup, it's far too touch and go this year to even take the chance. Haven't seen much Neely coming out of it, so I'm just going to snipe singles and hopefully end up with a decent Krug for a fair price, and pass on opening any.

I haven't bought any Prizm this year but they look cool! Its nice to get an auto from any blaster box. Congrats!
