RE: What is the FAVORITE piece/card in your collection?
As for football, I can't possibly pick a favorite card/item. In the running would be my DeAngelo Williams AU'd 8x10 photo, 2006 LCM AU/Quad Mem Gold version #/25, 2011 NT Colossal Patch #/25, Steve Smith 2008 Limited Prime Jersey Patch #/10 and my Ricky Proehl Panthers uniform AU'd 8x10 that I got signed in person.
In baseball it would be these: Items-- Clockwise from top left--AU'd Ozzie Smith 8x10 pic; AU'd Stan Musial 8x10 pic mounted in a 12x16 plaque, Stan Musial Marble Bust from 2003 UD Classic Portraits. The plaque is my favorite MLB item I own! Cards: #1 -- 1979 RC #2 -- 2009 SP Legendary Cuts Classic Signatures #/25 I'll save my 2 favorite NASCAR cards for another post. BTW, the Ozzie AU pic is my avatar, but the round item in the plastic bag is...... a cookie from Busch Stadium from the 2006 World Series! How's that for a collectible sports item?

RE: What is the FAVORITE piece/card in your collection?
I'll just put this out there. This is a "run-into-the-burning-house" kind of item for me, and it's not that light:
But the best part was a few months later I was able to get it signed: For those unable to figure out the autos, they would be, from top to bottom: Rene Robert Gilbert Perreault Rick Martin AKA "The French Connection" It was only a few months before "Rico" Martin died in a car accident that I met him. He was a class act 100%, while the other 2 were signing machines (sign item, pass down - sign item, pass down) Rick stopped every time and said "HI" to every single person. He really loved people, and I don't think he could ever figure out why people wanted his auto so bad...

I don't have updated scans of my D.J. Hackett collection, but this one I just picked up recently is hands down my favorite in my Adrian Wilson collection. Actually pushed me to start scanning everything again, going to be a very slow process.
Hmmm
