Dandy 1986 and 1990 Trading cards info
Hi all,
I've been searching everywhere for info about these cards but with no joy. As a boy growing up in Zimbabwe, i was obsessed with football. My mum got me boxes of dandy gum because there were trading cards within them. It was around 1990 as i can remember, and the cards were the world cup football cards. It's strange because there seems to be no record of dandy creating treading cards for the 1990 world cup, yet i seem to have them (quite confused really when they were released)... Anyone hear about them at all? I have the whole set minus 2 (queen of clubs, one joker). Here are the players on the cards:

a spades - G Hysen - Sweden

Hi,

The 1990 set is the rarest, the 1986 set seems to be everywhere. I don't know who the missing Joker is, but I can help you with identifying the Queen of Clubs - O. Protassov (Soviet Union)

Good luck with your search,

Hi Alan,

Thanks for the info. Do you have the set yourself or is there more info on it somewhere online? Not sure if they would get much money as i was looking at putting them up on eBay.

Regards,

Karl
